Oddly, I feel completely unChristmas-y this year. I don't know why, I'm really not fussed about decorations right now. Maybe that'll change in a week or two, I don't know. Maybe it's just my mood (ffffffuck, 3-0; reading a disappointing book; watched a disappointing film). Anyway~ This is pretty much the same as last year... So I guess if you listened to that one (all two of you) then it may not be worth downloading this again. There's... four new songs? And one of them is hardly a song. A couple more were taken out in order to round the track listing up to thirty (because I'm like that). Yeah, only four new songs. I spent all morning downloading a tonne of new stuff (when I should have been doing more productive things) but actually most of the twenty or thirty songs I got were rubbish. I don't want bloody Christian or traditional Christmas songs (unless they're rocked the hell up, which they never are) and I don't want a mix made up entirely of acoustic ballads either (one or two is fine but that's the limit). So while I would have liked to have made a vastly different mix it wasn't possible. Eh, this is just the way my narrow music tastes run. Still, this mix is awesome for one month of the year.And at least I did manage to download better quality versions of half a dozen or more songs. So that's good. OH, and I gave this mix awesome album artwork. Cutest f'ing picture. Personally I'm happy with this mix just for that. Double OH, I'm kind of interested in seeing Paranormal Activity. Apparently bricks are shat when watching this. Saw the adverts on the buses around town and it looked totally cheap and lame but apparently it's very good. Mind you, they said that about Blair Witch Project. Still, I am intrigued and if I can find company for this I might just go spend the money on a ticket. 4 comments|post comment
